Warning- Longest post EVER ahead!

I know, I know, I am TERRIBLE at this blog thing! So much has happened since the last post and just so I don’t bore you to death, I will keep the words short and the pictures long!

First, I need to share with you what a busy boy we have on our hands! He is always up to something!

Trust me when I say, these are only a few of many pictures of this boy at his finest! I LOVE watching him play; he always has some sort of plan and you can see it in his face. He’s a thinker and a mover!

Labor Day Vacation

For Labor Day we were able to take a nice needed vacation to my Dad’s house in New Mexico. Connor had such a fun time playing with Grandpa Steve and Grandma D’Ann. Of course Jon and I enjoyed the visit too! It was nice to escape to nicer weather and just enjoy family time.

We spent a day shopping in town followed by a little splashing in the creek.

Sorry Connor, Mom says, “Don’t eat rocks!”

And of course that happens to be hilarious. If you don’t already know, this boy LOVES water. He loves to drink it, and play in it. The water was so chilly and it did not prevent this guy from jumping right in.

The next day we took a trip to White Sands, Alamagordo to visit more family.

All in all, a very successful trip!

Children’s Museum

Connor and I took a fun trip to the Children’s museum in Mesa with My sister in-law Kristen and Connor’s cousins, Kate and Olivia.

The Children’s museum was so fun and it was nice to be able to let him get down and explore.

Connor and Kate diving into fun!

Connor Loved this toy. For awhile he forgot about all the other amazing things he could get in to.

Mom, is this ok?

Craft Table. Kate and Connor just wanted to eat the glue sticks. But still, entertaining.

Olivia had so much fun making a spider with Mommy!

SNACK TIME! Connor thought it would be a great idea to dump all the snacks out in a giant pile on the table. And he stands by that decision.

Halloween

So, we didn’t get too many pictures (I know, bad Mom) But we were too busy having fun and chasing him everywhere.

We fell upon the costume decision based on his strange love for light sabers!

So, he was DARTH VADER

It was pretty much impossible to catch him with the hat on.

He sure did love his sucker though!

Oh yah, and then there was this…

Jon works in a classroom with kid’s with special needs and they happen to love the wiggles. He is such a good sport!

And of course we had some fun with the wig. Sorry Connor, Mommy and Daddy Love you!

DSC01312

Sorry for stealing what most likely felt like a lifetime from you! But, how was I supposed to leave any of that out?

And so, I will leave you with this. A big thank you for stopping by from the boy we love so much-

2 Great Years!

Happy Anniversary to us!

It is so crazy to think about how far we have come. What started out as a harmless co-worker crush has turned into this.

I feel like I owe so much to Jon. He has given me more than most could even imagine! I am so lucky to have ended up as his wife.

These first two years have been so full of excitement and good times. I'm not sure anyone is ever done learning how to be married. Just when you think you've got it down, something changes and you have to relearn. I'm just so glad he's the person I get to forever learn and grow with!

Nothing is ever perfect and I think Marriage is definitely no exception to the rule. But having Jon as a husband definitely makes it easier!

I can't wait for the many years of crazy, fun, busy, and loving life we have to come!

CTR 4

SOOO... Jon and I just got a new calling (together)!!

We are now teaching the CTR 4(A) Primary class in our new ward. This last Sunday was our first Sunday as teachers and I knew we were in for some good times when in the short time we were with these sweet kiddos, one had gum on/in just about every part of his face/head/and arms.

Gotta love em'!

We are so excited to get to know each and every one of these sweet babes and hope that we are able to teach them in some way. We feel so lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to serve and know that only good things can come from whatever lies ahead on this little adventure!

Swim Date

Yesterday I met my sister-in-law Kristin and her two girls at the pool in our neighborhood. The water was a little too cold for Connor but he still enjoyed hanging out and the sun definitely tired him out. The girls both LOVED the water and Olivia was sad to go. Sadly I forgot to get a picture of her :( But here are the little ones!

Kate and Connor

Connor- excited to get out of his seat and play!

Pretty Kate!
Chunky boy soooo tired from a busy afternoon in the sun!

He was so worn out when we got home he took two long naps in a row. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure he will enjoy the water once it starts to warm up. I can't wait for a long summer of pool days!

It is so sweet and I can imagine it in so many colors and in almost any room of my house. PROBLEM: I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE!!!!! It is killing me! If anyone has seen a table resembling this that is not an unreasonable price, PLEASE HELP!

"Magnum"

"I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is." Derek Zoolander

We just got Connors pictures done and this is the first picture we got back. He already knows the best model pose "Magnum" from Zoolander. He is still working on the "Blue Steel" pose but he is not ready to release it to the public until it is finished!

Catching up on things

Happy Birthday to ME!

Jon did such a good job with this one! For those of you who don't know, I am somewhat OBSESSED with Horchata (particularly from Someburros). So my brave Husband went and asked them to fill this container up and brought it home to me!! He is brave! I cannot even imagine walking in there with this big blue container and asking them to fill it up. Along with the Horchata I got a new straightener (mine recently broke) and a gift card to Ulta.

To finish it all off we went out for sushi...YUM! We attempted to go bowling with friends that night, however, we were unaware that if you are not in a league bowling before 9 o'clock is not an option. So we headed to San Tan and did some shopping.

Once it was over I couldn't wait to get back home to Connor. I still have a difficult time leaving him for too long.

It was definitely a great birthday! Thanks Husband!

Blessing Day

Connor's Blessing Day! We were so glad for this day to finally come. It was so tough to find a blessing outfit for him and thanks to some help from his Grandma Karen, we found the CUTEST little sweater outfit that was just perfect!

Soon To be Sister-in-law's Bridal Shower
I was able to capture the sweetest pictures of Connor with my Grandma. It was so neat to see Connor with his Great Grandma (He was mostly just interested in trying to eat the table cloth).

Fingers!!!

Connor has discovered his hands and LOVES getting them into his mouth, along with anything else that comes in contact with his hands. He just has to know what they taste like.

St Patrick's Day
This onsie was purchased long before Connor was even thought of. It ended up being just the right size! He was very happy to not get pinched!
